Sad that employee didn't know about the sadness around South frontenac fire fighters from last week when they ask you to give funds to them. Food was great but lower prices would be wonderful along with serving green olives.
I have been trying for over a month to eat at this restaurant because the food is good but alas I have not been able to get a single meal .twice i have been told it's cash only tonight next 3 visits in a row and no gluten free buns .then tonight I try to call and confirm if they have them only to have the phone picked up and put on the counter without a word spoken to me .delicious food absolutely terrible service.
Update: finally got to have a sub
2 small gluten-free subs and 1 large sub with a bottle of ice tea split between us .
All for the sum of 54.37 .
With these prices I'm glad it didn't work out the other times .

We popped in for a quick and flavourful lunch. As always, food was fresh, hot and delicious and staff was friendly and helpful.
This is the second time I've been in when they rang me through the cash with gloves on and then proceed to make my food. Gross. Clearly they don't understand what the gloves are for. Will not be back for a third visit.

First time having theirs subs walked in all tables were dirty there were like 5 orders waiting they were getting takeout orders ready first then I repeated my order 4 times I spelt my name out for him and he gets it wrong then we get are food my husbands chilli was cold. Overall not a great experience
My second visit and my last. I don't know why when you ask for it toasted, then when you revive your order and ask if it was toasted the answer is yes. Then you get home and it's not toasted! Twice now this has happened.
Brought our girls here for a quick lunch during errands. The perfect spot! Quick friendly service. Asked for extra pickles and they gave them to us! 🥒 They even have high chairs 👌🏼

I bought lunch today and went right back for dinner. For lunch I had the cheddar beef brisket. Ate sub too fast to take a pic. So delicious, melted cheese smothered on layers of meat between a fresh chewy bun. Daughter had a club on a sub nd said it was the best sub ever. My friend had the salad and soup and loved it and so I came back for that for dinner. Veggies are crisp and fresh and the tomato soup is consistently so delicious I haven't been able to try anything else. I do wish they filled the soup cups all the way up though, that size is never enough to begin with. Maybe I'll just ask next time. Staff is so friendly and inviting. Bowmanville Firehouse sub is my new favourite sub place.... Sorry Subway!
Really expensive. $18 with tax for Cheese steak sandwich. It tasted okay... nothing special i would say. The meat tasted artificial, and nothing fresh, or special. For that much money, i think i rather just spend in on an actual restaurant meal.

I recently visited Firehouse Subs, and I must say, I loved the service and quality at this location. The staff was friendly and efficient, making my experience enjoyable from start to finish. I decided to try the tuna sandwich, and let me tell you, it was a very big serving. The portion size exceeded my expectations, and every bite was packed with flavor. Said no. Go to order subs and ask about toppings like olives, jalapeños etc and she says we don’t have any. She says all we have is lettuce tomato and onion. Thought that was strange for a sub place & After she made them I pulled up the menu online & I could see they had way more than lettuce tomato & onion but she had clearly just “put away” the other toppings for the night. On my way out I said thanks and just for reference if someone asks you if it’s too late you should tell them that you have put away almost all of the sub toppings and only have the 3 most basic ones out before they order in the nicest way possible and she just stared at me and said OK and proceeded to talk about me to the other employee as I walked out. $30 for two of the most basic footlongs I could have made at home.
